JOIN A TRIP

Use the Trip Reservation Form to reserve a place on a Health Talent trip. Upon receipt of your reservation form, HTI will send you a trip information packet for that trip.

DONATIONS & GIFTS

Health Talents is supported by donations from interested individuals and churches across the country. Gifts of medicines, medical equipment and supplies also aid the work considerably.

HTI operates with a limited number of personnel, from donated facilities, and with no expensive organizational structure. As a consequence, HTI is able to use the vast majority of its collected funds to directly meet the needs of the people in Guatemala.

We are listed at the AOL Foundation website www.helping.org. The AOL Foundation is the giving arm of America Online that brings together information for donors, volunteers, and charities. The foundation will cover the cost of processing contributions with only a standard credit card fee deducted from the gift.

A Great Way to Give!
In past years anyone desiring to donate money from their Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to a charity was subject to income tax on the amount of money they gave. The government passed a law on August 17, 2006, called the Pension Protection Act of 2006. This act states that in 2007 anyone over 70 ½ can donate up to $100,000 directly from their IRA to a charity like Health Talents without being subject to paying income tax on that donation.

If you are among the 70 ½ or older age group and are interested in supporting our work, we ask that you speak with your accountant or financial planner to find out if giving from your IRA, tax free, could be an option for you.
