Come Be The Hands And Feet Of Jesus!
Health Talents Trips
Each year, Health Talents International coordinates multiple mission trips to Guatemala, providing medical, surgical, dental, and eye care to underserved communities. These trips include surgical teams, eye clinics, medical and dental clinics, and university-based student teams, as well as opportunities for caregivers and non-medical volunteers. Together, these trips allow HTI to serve tens of thousands of patients annually while training and encouraging the next generation of healthcare professionals to serve with skill, compassion, and faith.
Patients Served
Health Talents International serves patients who often have little or no access to quality healthcare. Many of those we serve live in rural villages or underserved urban communities throughout Guatemala and face significant barriers due to poverty, distance, or limited medical resources. Our patients include children, adults, and the elderly who come seeking relief from pain, restoration of sight, life-changing surgery, and compassionate care—offered with dignity, respect, and the love of Christ.
HTI Volunteers
Health Talents International relies on hundreds of volunteers each year to make our work possible. In 2025, over 600 volunteers joined HTI on mission trips to Guatemala, coming from nearly every U.S. state and several other countries. Our teams include surgeons, physicians, nurses, CRNAs, dentists, eye care professionals, physical therapists, caregivers, translators, students, and non-medical support volunteers. Depending on the trip type, teams range from small specialty groups to larger multidisciplinary teams, offering multiple opportunities each year for both medical and non-medical volunteers to serve alongside our Guatemalan staff.
Always Looking for Volunteers
Health Talents International is always looking for volunteers who feel called to serve. We welcome individuals who demonstrate a heart for service, humility, compassion, flexibility, and a willingness to work as part of a team. Our volunteers come ready to serve with excellence, respect the dignity of every patient, and share the love of Christ through both words and actions. Whether medical or non-medical, each volunteer plays a vital role in advancing our mission in Guatemala.
